The tree swallows were very interested in the bluebird boxes, but this little guy wasn’t having it. I caught these pictures while I watched him flying from box to box, chasing away the tree swallows. Click on pictures to enlarge.

I spent a lot of time wandering around the lake this morning. While it would have been a much better day if I hadn’t accidentally erased some good red-tailed hawk pics, it was still very nice. Click on pictures to enlarge.
It was great to get out for a while this morning and see some of the spring arrivals. The turkey vultures are back and I saw one lone tree swallow. The bluebirds are always with us, and always splendid. Click on pictures to enlarge.
