The wetlands is in the duck and the duck is in the wetlands

On this morning of thunder-snow, I am delighted to post the link to my photo essay, “The Wetlands Is in the Duck and the Duck Is in the Wetlands” at Our Hen House. I am thrilled that they wanted to share this story and amazed by the wonderful work they do. Thank you!

Amazing Sky

While we Kansans love to talk about how unpredictable our weather is, I do love it. It was in the fifties when I got to the lake this morning and the sun was shining. I was going down a path when the wind changed direction and the clouds came in. I think the temperature dropped about ten degrees before I got back to the car. It was invigorating, and beautiful. Winter Landscapes

While my very tired and very dirty camera and lens are in the shop getting a good cleaning, I thought I would celebrate this fabulously sunny day with a few of my favorite landscapes. Click on pictures to enlarge.
