As the temperature drops, I get out more. I love the crisp weather and having a walk to myself. There is still time to see migrating birds and the residents who will stick around as long as the water is not frozen. Click on pictures to enlarge.

I saw this lovely couple taking advantage of a water-soaked ditch along the road. They were so close that I actually had difficulty getting a picture of the two of them together because my telephoto lens is too long. I didn’t notice until working on this post just now that the male of the pair looks like he has something stuck in his neck. It looks like a staple from a staple gun. Sometimes humans really suck.
