Fall migration is well underway. There are thousands of gulls at Clinton Lake and I never get tired of watching. Click on pictures to enlarge.

Gulls
If you live in the Lawrence area, you have probably noticed the thousands of gulls moving through. Amazing, and big fun to watch! Click on pictures to enlarge.
More from the lake
Nice morning
This fall weather is amazing. It was nice to leave for an appointment a couple of hours early and steal a bit of time at the lake. Click on pictures to enlarge.
Welcome to Fall
One of the great things about fall is just sitting in the yard watching. We are fortunate to be in an area where we not only have many animals living around us, but many flying over on their way to the Wakarusa Wetlands or the Kansas River. During migration time, it is not unusual to see hundreds of flybys by geese, gulls, nighthawks, and other birds. Seeing all the Monarchs, dragonflies, and other butterflies is amazing. Flock of seagulls
Okay–so they are not really seagulls, but Franklin’s gulls. 🙂 Click on picture to enlarge.
